Q. Isn't there a Dine Out at a restaurant option?
A. Over the past 4 years, 100s of restaurants supported this intiative in a very generous way and we are extremely grateful to everyone involved. As the Foresight team is very small we didn't have the manpower or resources to dedicate to organising this in 2008 due to all the other fund-raising and community events we have run. If you know anyone who would volunteer to run this for us in 2009 please get in touch. Dining at Home has always been popular and we hope that you will choose this option this year. It will be great to have 100s of people dining for sight across the UAE on the weekend of 5th and 6th of June.
Q. Do I have to hold my dinner pary on 5th or 6th of June.
A. You can organise a dinner in aid of Foresight on any night to suit you. We chose this weekend as our annual Dine foreSight occasion. We think it gives a real sense of community to think of everyone dining together throughout the Emirates.
Q. How much does the Dine at Home kit cost?
A. We ask for a minimum donation of 50 AED to cover the cost of the kit. If you are inviting more than 10 people we request that you make a larger donation.
Q. What amount should I ask my guests to donate?
A. The amount is up to you. We recommend a minimum of 50 AED (the cost of flowers or chocolates) but as they being invited into your home with the effort you put into providing a delicious meal most people give more. All funds raised go to help fight blindness.
